 | Cub fans may remember the "Shawon-O-Meter", a "makeshift placard" (as described by the immortal Jack Buck on radio overheard in the left field bleachers before Dunston's first at-bat in Game Three of the 1989 NLCS in San Fran) that appeared in the left field bleachers of Wrigley Field (and others) from 1989-1995. The Smithsonian Institution, Baseball Hall of Fame and the Chicago History Museum all have an original version in their archives. |
